Erin Flynn-Brown, DC, CACCP
Hello! I am Dr. Erin Flynn-Brown and excited to bring my passion for caring for the entire family to Nourish!
I firmly believe that chiropractic care is important for everyone and can benefit all people, no matter what their current health status.
Megan Hejny, DC
Hello! My name is Dr Megan Hejny and I am beyond excited to be part of the amazing team of women chiropractors at Nourish.
I believe that chiropractic care plays a role in increased health and vitality. I was lucky to grow up as a “chiro baby” as my father is also a chiropractor. Seeing how it impacted my young life in such a positive way made me want to be able to share this with others. It is my honor to work in the realm of prenatal and pediatric care and my goal is to see families thrive.
My education began at the University of MN, Duluth where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology. I then received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. While at Northwestern I did everything I could to learn more about working with pregnant mothers and babies. Some of the advanced training I have done includes courses through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Webster Certification which is a technique to reduce intrauterine constraint for pregnant women, rehabilitation of infants with lip and tongue ties and protocols for working with children with sensory processing disorders. I am also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with a certificate in prenatal yoga!
My significant other, Sam, and I have been together since we met in Chiropractic school. We love everything to do with the outdoors and have an activity for every season. Traveling and experiencing other cultures is a passion of mine. When I am home I have to try new recipes and I am always reading at least one book.
Kelsey Metz, DC, CACCP
Hello! I am Dr. Kelsey Metz, and I am thrilled to bring my passion for prenatal, pediatric and nutritional care to Nourish!
Due to several of my own experiences, I have developed a passion in working with women to prepare their bodies for pregnancy and to establish their team of support for a VBAC. I also love nutrition! I enjoy helping women achieve optimal wellness and heal their bodies naturally through nutritional changes such as whole food nutrition and supplementation or detox when needed.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Crown College in 2008 and then received my Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2012. I completed my pediatric certification training (CACCP) and Webster Technique Certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. I have also received additional training in nutrition, Spinning Babies® Techniques, Craniosacral for Infants and Evaluation and Rehabilitation of Tethered Oral Tissues in Infants.
My husband Jeff and I have been married for 8 years and have 2 busy little boys (hence my love for coffee)! My faith and my family are my greatest joys and what drives me love and serve others every day.
Elizabeth Berg, DC, LC
Hello! I’m Dr. Liz Berg and after struggling personally in my transition to becoming a mom– navigating fertility challenges, breastfeeding challenges related to low supply & tongue and lip ties, and post-baby depletion, I knew other moms needed more support, too. From this realization, Nourish was born!
My passions include:
- Helping moms and babies breastfeed successfully to meet their goals, especially after tongue/lip ties.
- Caring for pregnant moms so they can feel energized and enter motherhood healthy.
- Caring for women who are exhausted, sore & depleted (despite all the lab results being “normal”) so they can replenish and heal to enjoy their family again!
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and have taken advanced training courses in Acupuncture for Fertility & Hormone Balance, Craniosacral for Infants and Pregnancy, Lactation, Spinning Babies® Techniques, Diastasis Recti Rehabilitation, and Chiropractic for Pregnancy and the Post-Baby period including Certification in the Webster Technique, a technique used to minimize intra-uterine constraint which can lead to difficult pregnancy or labor. I also train other chiropractors how to help more moms in their practice through Nourish Professional-Lactation for Chiropractors.
My husband, Peter and I have been married for 14 years and we have 2 little boys who love to play board games and imagine new worlds. My personal hobbies include gluten free and paleo cooking, hiking, organic gardening, yoga, DIY projects and volunteering with the youth at our church.
