Jillian Skluzacek, D.C.
Hello, I’m Dr. Jillian Skluzacek! I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and furthered my education with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. My goal was to join a profession involved with helping people; this, in combination with a passion in health, motivated me to become a chiropractor. I believe that our bodies are wonderful machines that when given the proper tools, are able to promote self-healing and wellness. I strive to encourage this using a combination of education and treatment with chiropractic care, nutrition supplementation, exercise rehabilitation and lifestyle modifications. I utilize a variety of adjusting techniques altered to suit each individual’s needs.
My husband, David and I recently married and enjoyed a honeymoon to beautiful Italy. My personal hobbies include yoga, photography, playing piano and being outdoors- preferably at a lake!
Rachel Alioto, N.D.
Hello! I am Dr. Rachel Alioto and I earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of Minnesota and continued on to earn my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. I always knew that I wanted to be a doctor, but throughout high school and college I struggled with severe stomachaches and weight loss that, despite all of the testing, no medical doctor could figure out. Six years later I reached rock bottom and something needed to change. Through my setback, I was inspired to find a more individualized and wholesome way of healing and it led me to naturopathic medicine. I attended one of the seven accredited naturopathic medical schools where I spent 3 years in classes and 1 year interning in both IL and CA. In working with me, I take the time to listen and understand each patient’s unique condition in order to create a personalized wellness plan. I treat any and all conditions by addressing the whole body and stimulating the body’s self-healing processes to allow for the whole body, mind and spirit to attain balance and health. My goal is to heal, teach and inspire each person to be an advocate for his or her own health.
I am a California native who still loves home, but have learned to appreciate and love Minnesota as well! My hobbies include swimming and weight lifting, cooking, doing puzzles, being in nature and being with family.
