Even if your pregnancy and birth went the way you wanted, the transition from pregnancy to motherhood can bring many new changes to your body. In this class, we’ll equip you to strengthen and reconnect with your postpartum body as you restore your core and your breath.

Hi! My name is Jenell Fransen. I recently completed my Yoga Alliance Registered 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training through Studio One. I’ve been practicing yoga on my own for about 4 years and am happy to have the opportunity to teach here at Nourish. My training is in Vinyasa or Flow yoga, which is simply pairing breath to movement and I have some knowledge of Yin yoga as well.

I am a stay at home mother with two kids, the oldest (6) is my daughter Nora and the youngest (4) is my son, Ian. I also work part-time as a Birth Doula and have been helping empower and inform families about the process of childbirth for the last 3 years. So, I have a pretty good understanding of all the stages surrounding pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum!

I am exited to announce that I will be holding yoga classes at Nourish Family Wellness/Nourish Yoga beginning in February. I will be teaching 6-week Postnatal Flow series, with the first series focusing on Restoring the body. These classes are geared towards postpartum women and are welcome to mom’s who are at least 6-weeks postpartum and on.
